Azure Solution and AI Architect
Who I AM
My name is Manab Basu.
I am an experienced consultant and Cloud Solution Architect with a background in AI architecture and development with 20 years of diverse expertise in multiple domains and cutting-edge technologies. I have worked in various roles and responsibilities across multiple domains, collaborating with numerous customers. My role involves designing and governing enterprise integration solutions across Azure, APIs, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and payment platforms. I work closely with business stakeholders, architects, vendors, and delivery teams to ensure solutions are not only technically sound but also aligned with business objectives and successfully delivered.
Over the past few years, I've gained strong experience in enterprise solution design, integration and AI architecture, governance, security, and stakeholder management. While I've been performing many Solution Architect responsibilities, I'm now looking for an opportunity where I can take broader ownership of end-to-end solution architecture, drive strategic technology decisions, and contribute at a larger organisational level.
What excites me about this move is the opportunity to combine my technical expertise, business understanding, and delivery experience to create solutions that deliver measurable business value and support digital transformation initiatives.
I see myself as someone who bridges business strategy, enterprise architecture, and delivery execution, and that's the value I bring as a Solution Architect.
---------------------
I hold certifications as a Microsoft Azure Architect (AZ303, 304), Azure Administration (AZ104), Designing DevOps Solutions (AZ400), and Open Group TOGAF 9.1 Foundation.
My expertise lies in delivering scalable, secure, and cost-effective design solutions on Microsoft Azure, .NET, various databases, and more. I have a proven track record of successful solution architecture, and you work closely with relevant team members to ensure smooth delivery, demonstrating a complete awareness of budgetary control.
What does a typical day look like for me?
My typical day is a combination of architecture, stakeholder engagement, and delivery governance. I usually start by reviewing project updates, risks, design discussions, and any architectural decisions that need attention. A significant part of my day involves collaborating with business stakeholders, product owners, vendors, and delivery teams to understand requirements, clarify business objectives, and ensure that the proposed solutions align with both business and technology strategies.
From a technical perspective, I spend time designing and reviewing solution architectures across Azure, APIs, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, AI services, and enterprise integrations. This includes defining solution patterns, reviewing data flows, security and compliance requirements, integration designs, and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards. I also work closely with development teams, providing architectural guidance, resolving technical challenges, and supporting critical design decisions.
Beyond the technical aspects, I play a governance and leadership role by facilitating architecture reviews, managing dependencies and risks, coordinating across multiple teams, and ensuring delivery remains aligned with business outcomes. I regularly engage with senior stakeholders to communicate solution direction, project progress, and key decisions in business-friendly language.
What I enjoy most is acting as the bridge between business strategy, architecture, and delivery execution. My goal is to ensure that solutions are not only technically robust and secure but also practical, scalable, and capable of delivering measurable business value. That balance of strategic thinking, hands-on technology leadership, and stakeholder collaboration is what makes the role particularly rewarding for me.
Technology Stack
In contrast to numerous architects, I hold a steadfast belief that a Software Architect should immerse themselves in the intricacies of code and technological details. In essence, I am unable to wholeheartedly endorse a library, framework, or platform unless I am confident in its ability to meet your system's requirements. I consistently endeavor to remain abreast of the latest advancements in software architecture, and consequently, I have incorporated a myriad of best practices and cutting-edge technologies into my repertoire.
